As a Retail Associate, you will be at the heart of delivering exceptional service, ensuring every customer interaction is positive and memorable. You will be instrumental in creating a welcoming atmosphere, assisting customers with their needs, and maintaining an organized and well-stocked store. All are 10-hour shifts

**What You’ll Do:**

• Greet every guest with a friendly demeanor, maintaining positive interactions throughout their visit.
• Efficiently operate Point of Sale (POS) systems to ensure quick and accurate transactions.
• Adhere strictly to cash handling procedures and company standards.
• Proactively engage with guests, providing a hospitable and helpful experience.
• Communicate any operational issues or morale concerns to the leadership team.
• Take initiative to support all store operations, including operating various machines, preparing items, and managing the cash register.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by following all cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Uphold integrity by adhering to all safety and store policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all Time and Attendance policies.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all inventory products to assist customers effectively.
• Assist in keeping the selling floor stocked with merchandise and organizing display areas.

• Money Handling* Proficiency in operating cash registers, processing various payment types, accurately counting and balancing cash drawers, and understanding basic accounting procedures.
• Problem Solving: Ability to use logical thinking to identify and resolve issues effectively, looking beyond immediate answers.
• Process Improvement: A keen eye for identifying inefficiencies in daily operations and suggesting practical improvements to enhance flow and customer value.
• Punctuality: A strong commitment to timeliness, demonstrating organization and realistic time management.
• Reading and Writing for Comprehension: Strong ability to understand written information, gather insights from texts, and communicate clearly.
• Relationship Management: Skill in building positive relationships with customers and team members, fostering open communication and a welcoming environment.
• Time Management: Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks, use time efficiently, and accomplish more in less time.
• Understanding Business Unit Metrics: An awareness of how individual performance contributes to overall business goals, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

**Must-Haves:**

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Previous retail experience.

**Nice-to-Have:**

• Money handling experience.

**Education:**

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
