**About the Role**
This role offers a unique opportunity to drive the consistent application of sound architectural principles and overall space aesthetics across a diverse portfolio. You will be at the heart of planning, developing, and implementing projects, ensuring all designs meet stringent codes and corporate guidelines. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining high standards for design, optimizing operational efficiency, enhancing employee experience, and fostering a positive public image. This position provides significant opportunities for leadership, innovation, and collaboration as you coordinate with internal teams, engineers, and consultants to bring transformative projects to life.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Support and manage various projects within the real estate portfolio, including capital projects, corporate furniture programs, and space assessments.
* Develop and implement design solutions that align with core company priorities such as safety, operational excellence, customer experience, and cost-effectiveness.
* Ensure all project plans conform to applicable building codes, energy conservation standards, and accessibility guidelines.
* Prepare comprehensive project scopes and reports by collecting, analyzing, surveying, and summarizing data, trends, and site conditions.
* Obtain final architectural design approvals by effectively presenting designs to leadership and making necessary revisions based on feedback and cost considerations.
* Prepare and perform detailed cost-benefit analyses, project estimates, and schedules, along with all related project documentation.
* Apply principles of ergonomics to design solutions to enhance user comfort and efficiency.
* Review and approve architectural design scopes within the company’s drawing repository system for accurate record-keeping.
* Collaborate closely with management to review and uphold corporate design standards.
* Coordinate, direct, peer check, and review the work of other architects, designers, engineers, and external consultants.
* Take responsibility for the correctness of drawings and actively resolve, make, or approve field design changes.
**Must-Have Professional Skills & Experience:**
* Proficiency in CAD software.
* Demonstrated ability to balance creative, technical, and analytical thinking, with a strong capacity for clear analysis, quantitative problem-solving, and efficient task prioritization.
* Proven experience in design and the application of architectural and/or engineering principles within relevant areas of expertise.
* Experience with construction administration or project management.
* Experience in preparing budgets, project estimates, and schedules.
* Strong written and oral communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
* Demonstrated initiative and commitment to safety, teamwork, and excellence.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
* Bachelor’s degree in an Architecture field.
**Nice-to-Have Skills:**
* Mobility for site visits (e.g., possession of a driver’s license and personal vehicle).
* Experience with facility management software.
* Proficiency in space management techniques.
