We are seeking an experienced and highly creative Senior Art Director (SAD) to join our Fragrance Design team on a contract basis to cover a maternity leave. This is a crucial, hands-on role responsible for leading the concepting, creative direction, and full-cycle execution of 360 beauty fragrance campaigns.

The Senior Art Director collaborates closely with internal stakeholders, brand partners, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, client-centric creative across all platforms. You will be a key contributor to our brand’s visual identity and storytelling within the fragrance category, bringing bold ideas and thoughtful design to life in support of core business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Leadership & Execution

  • Partner with the Associate Creative Director (ACD) to develop strategic marketing campaign concepts that provide innovative creative solutions and meet business goals.
  • Lead and mentor a team of art directors and designers through project execution, including overseeing resource allocation and bandwidth planning.
  • Build and direct the team in developing creative decks, storyboards, shoot briefs, and design executions across multiple channels to visualize the concept.
  • Lead photoshoots and video productions, art directing photographers, stylists, external vendors, and agency partners to flawlessly execute the creative vision.
  • Present creative work to stakeholders and thoughtfully integrate feedback throughout the review and approval process.
  • Lead multiple concurrent projects, manage timelines, design approvals, and executional details across all workstreams.

Project-Specific Deliverables (Examples)

  • Oversee the complete execution and delivery of assets for key seasonal campaigns (e.g., Q1/Q2 Major Brand Campaigns).
  • Lead the concept development, photoshoot, and execution of assets for major holidays (e.g., Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Father’s Day).
  • Develop concepts, attend photoshoots (as needed), and complete execution of summer promotional projects.
  • Develop various fragrance gifting templatization systems.
  • Oversee the production and delivery of Connected TV (CTV) advertising assets.

We’re Excited About You If You Have

  • 7+ years of progressive design and art direction experience, preferably within the beauty, fashion, or lifestyle sectors.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing proven success in 360 campaign work and an elevated design sensibility.
  • Required experience in on-set art direction and photo/video production.
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; working knowledge of Figma is a plus.
  • Experience mentoring junior creatives and efficiently managing design workflows.
  • A confident, clear communicator who excels in a collaborative, team-based environment.
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to effectively juggle multiple, time-sensitive projects.
