Empower Internal Support Teams Through Streamlined Documentation
In this role, you’ll be the gatekeeper of quality and clarity for all support documentation. You will collaborate with Content Management Specialists, transforming their drafts into polished, accessible resources within the Content Management System (CMS). Your keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy will ensure that support teams have the information they need, when they need it.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Transform SOP drafts into the required coded format for the CMS, ensuring seamless integration and accessibility.
  • Meticulously copy edit and proofread all content, maintaining high standards of quality and clarity.
  • Publish finalized SOPs to the repository, making them readily available to internal support teams.
  • Collaborate with Content Specialists to resolve ambiguities and improve content clarity, ensuring a positive user experience.
  • Manage a queue of work, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactively identify and address potential content issues, working with Content Specialists to implement improvements.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a writing or lead writing role.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with developers and tailor content for a technical audience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on clarity and accuracy.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience with XML-based publishing systems.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of DITA XML coding language, HTML, and OxygenXML Author.
  • Experience with web services and related technologies.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $37.61 to $41.79 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
