We’re looking for a Presentation Designer to join our team and help us transform our top Tech client’s ideas into visually compelling stories. This isn’t your typical corporate presentation role. We need someone who can go beyond standard templates and create captivating, forward-thinking narratives that grab attention and sell our products. If you have a passion for visual storytelling and a knack for creating dynamic, out-of-the-box designs, we want to hear from you.
This role is responsible for the creation, design, and production of executive-facing presentations supporting a range of products, events, and launches. Presentation assignments may include developing themed slide templates, data and insight visualizations, as well as comprehensive client showcase decks, primarily intended for internal communications.
This part-time position is for 20 hours/week, with the potential for full-time hours in the future.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a storyteller by crafting engaging visual narratives that elevate presentations beyond a corporate feel.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including script writers, engineering leads, product managers, and product leads, to convert written content into compelling visual stories.
- Design visually captivating presentations with a strong design presence and a content strategy mindset.
- Ensure consistent messaging across all materials through thoughtfully created designs.
- Deliver high-quality graphic design work with minimal creative direction, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 years’ experience in presentation animation/motion design using PowerPoint is essential. Experience with Adobe After Effects is a strong asset.
- Proven experience in crafting, designing, and delivering executive-level presentations for various products, events, and launches.
- At least 5 years’ background in presenting, pitching, or storytelling within a corporate environment is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft 365 applications is required.
- Familiarity with the Windows PC platform is mandatory; knowledge of Microsoft history and products is viewed favorably.
- Demonstrated ability to excel in fast-paced environments with stringent deadlines.
- A portfolio that showcases your experience, especially with storytelling narratives.
Compensation Range: $50 -55/hr DOE
The range provided is our reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location.
