As a Service Desk Specialist, you’ll be the critical first point of contact, empowering healthcare professionals and internal teams with the technical support they need to deliver exceptional patient care. Your expertise will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of a nationwide network of clinicians, ensuring they have seamless access to vital tools and resources.
This dynamic role offers a unique opportunity to blend your technical skills with a passion for patient care. You will be instrumental in supporting a cutting-edge mobile application used by healthcare professionals (Nurse Practitioners, Doctors, etc.) to conduct medical screenings, manage medications, and record patient information during home healthcare visits. Simultaneously, you’ll provide technical assistance to internal teams, ensuring they have the resources they need to support this critical mission.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide daily technical and application support to external healthcare professionals and internal employees.
- Engage with users through various channels, including a ticketing system, inbound/outbound calls, and email.
- Troubleshoot tablet, mobile OS, and proprietary application issues for healthcare professionals.
- Resolve computer OS, peripheral, and webcam issues for internal employees.
- Coordinate and monitor hardware fulfillment requests for laptops, tablets, and peripherals.
- Escalate and manage tickets requiring specialized attention.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and ticket documentation.
- Collaborate on special projects as needed.
- Provide occasional overtime, weekend, and holiday support.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in Service Desk or Help Desk Support.
- Customer-centric mindset and collaborative approach.
- Experience supporting mobile OS and tablet hardware, as well as desktop OS and hardware.
- Experience with web-based applications and mobile device management tools.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Help Desk ticketing systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $21 to $23 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
