Join a leading financial services firm, partnering with Aquent, and make a real impact as a Scrum Master. You will be instrumental in guiding a team through the complexities of a large-scale software development, implementation, and integration project. This role offers a unique opportunity to hone your leadership skills while contributing to a critical project.
As a Scrum Master, you will be the orchestrator of your team’s success. You’ll ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards, minimizing technical debt. You will be the vital link between the team and stakeholders, fostering strong relationships through open communication. This role is not just about process; it’s about empowering your team to deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all task activities to ensure timely completion and minimize technical debt.
- Maintain open communication with client personnel and stakeholders, building strong relationships.
- Lead a Scrum team through planning, development, and testing on a large-scale software project.
- Conduct all Scrum-related activities, including sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint retrospectives, and client demos.
- Collaborate with product owners to manage the product backlog and sprint activities.
- Proactively identify and remove obstacles and manage risks to maximize team efficiency.
- Track and report on all Scrum activities daily.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Experience managing software development projects, preferably using an Agile Scrum approach.
- Proven ability to apply scrum estimation techniques to software development efforts.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Excellent time management, project planning, and team-building skills.
- Equivalent experience of 1-2 years in a comparable role.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP), or Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $43.20 to $48.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
