Responsibilities:

  • Analyze historical and current financial data to produce accurate reports and forecasts, informing strategic planning and resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models to evaluate performance, profitability, and long-term planning for music content and studios, contributing to data-driven decision-making.
  • Support essential monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial operations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insightful recommendations to optimize financial performance and drive growth.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the music organization to understand business drivers and their financial impact, fostering a collaborative and informed approach to financial planning.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive budget dashboards, financial summaries, and presentation materials for leadership and key stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and data-driven insights.
  • Identify emerging financial trends, potential risks, and promising opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to navigate the evolving financial landscape.
  • Support ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed, contributing to a dynamic and responsive financial planning function.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Experience with financial reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or MBA.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Knowledge of GAAP and financial statement analysis.
  • Working knowledge of Airtable or similar collaborative data platforms.
  • Process-oriented with a focus on improving reporting workflows and tools.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45.64 to $50.72 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
