Location: Remote but near Boston preferred to be able to work onsite 2X a week.
Schedule: Part time up to 30 hours a week (there is no preset schedule, HM is flexible. Also possible is if the majority of hours are done Monday-Thursday).
Most important skillset: Media copy writing experience, having worked at an external agency, ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects. Responsible for helping write and develop vocal posts, content copy writing for social and digital landscapes.
Day to Day: Recap project with manager, working with creative team to execute projects, Some engagement with stakeholders, A little bit of reporting on how things are going and how they can tell a story on what they’ve done.
This is a part-time role, reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, who reports to the Head of GRS Marketing. S/he is an integrated marketer who provides tactical execution of marketing programs that span the spectrum – from online presence to social and email marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Marketing support for specific programs that are aligned with business, brand and/or corporate marketing objectives.
- Proactively supports small- to mid-sized marketing programs utilizing a variety of media including email, brochures, social media, online and print media. Programs may include sales support, internal communications, local advertising, events and public relations initiatives.
- Works with our internal creative team to coordinate, manage and execute marketing campaigns. Includes management of creative deliverables from brief writing, concept review, execution, and post launch analysis.
- Drives to learn and understand the business needs and competitive pressures of our segments. Helps to develop new initiatives and opportunities based on an understanding of the needs of the business.
- Collaborates with Senior Marketing Managers to develop tracking and measurement for associated programs. Works with manager and partners to summarize results.

- Ability to collaborate with internal teams to deliver on shared goals.
- Highly effective project management skills to drive cross-functional programs.
- Strong client/partner support skills to ensure each stakeholder is satisfied with the plans and execution being provided to them.
- Extremely well organized and detail oriented.
- Solid time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and on multiple priorities required.
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of both communications and marketing areas and the ability to integrate the two fields.
- Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of KPI’s/success metrics across a variety of marketing channels.
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including peers, management and executive leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-5 years of demonstrated marketing/communications experience
- Past experience in managing marketing programs and campaigns with external creative agencies strongly preferred
- Financial/Insurance industry experience a plus
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $28 to $32 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
