This is your opportunity to join a dynamic Enterprise Experience team dedicated to crafting exceptional digital experiences for a global workforce. Partnering with Technology, HR, Talent, Operations, Finance, and Legal organizations, you will play a pivotal role in defining the design strategy for all developer tools within the Enterprise Technology Organization. This includes crucial platforms like the developer marketplace, software delivery systems, and cloud provider interfaces.

*This is a remote role, but candidates local to Portsmouth, NH a plus. 

As a Senior User Researcher, you will:

  • Lead user research activities, from usability testing and surveys to in-depth interviews, transforming your findings into actionable insights that drive product development.
  • Champion user-centric design by actively participating in the entire product lifecycle, from identifying customer needs and ideation to continuous feedback gathering.
  • Masterfully select the most effective research methods for each project, ensuring relevant and impactful learnings that inform design decisions.
  • Contribute to user persona development, journey mapping, and interpreting user goals to create a holistic understanding of the user experience.
  • Test concepts and in-production experiences, moderating usability studies with best practices to guarantee high-quality findings.
  • Deliver clear, concise, and objective research findings, focusing on actionable insights that empower teams to make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including UX Product Designers, UX Content Strategists, business stakeholders, and IT professionals.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Design, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience in user research.
  • Expertise in qualitative research methods, including usability testing, customer interviews, and heuristic evaluations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with quantitative research tools like Validately and UserZoom.
  • Experience with Design Thinking and Lean UX methodologies.
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills, including presenting to leadership.
  • Strong organizational and analytical thinking skills.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $46.75 to $51.95 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
