What you’ll do:

The Creative Studio Tools Team is seeking a skilled Librarian (Digital Asset Manager), Creative Studio Tools to join their team. In this role, you’ll be the primary point of contact responsible for receiving and entering data from varied sources to enrich Creative Assets in our Digital Asset Management system (DAM).

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that Creative Assets are promptly enriched with all relevant usage rights, embargo dates, project details, product information, and other key metadata. Under the direction of the Sr. Manager, Creative Asset Management, you’ll also perform retroactive metadata cleanup and cataloging work to make Creative Assets more searchable, accurate, and secure. In this role, you will serve as the point of contact for uploading and tagging purchased Marketing assets. Finally, you’ll partner with the Sr. Manager to support future asset management innovations and implementations. Under their guidance, you’ll test data automations and process improvements throughout the Creative Studio’s Asset workstreams.

Your efforts will directly support the scalability of the Creative Studio and its downstream partners. You’ll serve as an admin and functional support across multiple creative tools, primarily Adobe Experience Manager Assets (AEM) and Adobe Workfront. Typical duties involve entering data with a high degree of accuracy, consistently meeting SLAs, prioritizing inputs effectively, documenting systematically, identifying and closing gaps, partnering & escalating effectively, and supplying continuous improvement recommendations for your areas of responsibility.

By aggregating and integrating inputs from Creative Project Managers, Account Managers, Producers, and Data Stakeholders, you’ll maintain a system-wide perspective on the functionality and configurations of the Creative Studio’s content supply chain. You’ll systematically solve searchability problems and coordinate cross-functionally to deliver holistic metadata and usability improvements to the DAM ecosystem.

As a pillar of Creative & Business Operations for the Creative Studio, the Creative Studio Tools team builds and optimizes the Creative Studio tooling ecosystem, striving for operational excellence. Our work directly impacts the speed, scalability, and daily experience of multiple creative teams. We enable improved creative and production processes, streamlined operations, and outstanding creative development through system implementations, optimizations, and governance. We serve as the Creative Studio’s centralized tool coordinators for existing, new, and expanded creative technology.

You will make an impact by:

  • Delivering consistent, accurate data to asset systems of record.
  • Partnering cross-functionally to remove barriers to execution and speed delivery.
  • Contributing to the design of asset data workflows and Digital Rights Management guardrails.
  • Developing standardization opportunities into supported, operationalized processes.
  • Supporting automations that expand the ability for Creative Assets to be reused, provide useful insights, and be properly controlled.
  • Evaluating solutions, in partnership with the team and stakeholders.
  • Serving as the Creative Studio’s primary point-of-contact for tracking purchases of fonts and for providing font usage governance in tooling.
  • Managing your workload effectively, including communications with peers, partner teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Contributing to education, training, and documentation for all creators and users of Creative Assets.
  • Delivering strategic retroactive metadata enrichment and cataloging services.
  • Administering the management of stock asset ingestion into DAM.
  • Contributing to the team’s prioritized objectives, ensuring successful and continuous delivery of new capabilities.
  • Migrating and organizing existing legacy assets on an as-needed basis.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years working with enterprise-level DAM systems.
  • 2+ years experience as a digital asset librarian or digital technician supporting creative asset production in large organizations.
  • 2+ years front-end admin experience with large-scale digital asset management systems.
  • 1+ year supporting the development and maintenance of metadata schemas in coordination with product managers, information architects, and data stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with legal, operations, communications, and technology requirements for Creative assets’ digital rights management.
  • 2+ years supporting creative technology, studio tools, and marketing for a retail or e-commerce organization.
  • Proficient at partnering with Producers, Creative teams, and Project managers.
  • Familiarity with entering data to enforce the legal terms and requirements for Digital Rights Management.
  • Experience with eliciting and documenting requirements.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; English-language proficiency.

Nice to haves:

  • Expert with front-end data admin and librarian tasks in Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
  • Experience partnering with Legal teams.
  • Front-end admin experience with Workfront.
  • Experience with Iconik MAM and photography support tools such as Creative Force, Shotflow, and CaptureOne.
  • Experience with Confluence, Jira, and MS Office 365.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45.00 to $50.00/ hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
