We are searching for an impactful individual to revolutionize how we communicate through our digital platforms. In this pivotal role, you won’t just write; you’ll orchestrate conversations, define product value, and connect directly with the needs of our users. You’ll be at the heart of ensuring every digital interaction, from the purely transactional to the overtly promotional, resonates deeply and delivers tangible value. **What You’ll Do:**
As a key contributor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the digital landscape by:
* **Crafting Content Strategy:**
* Developing comprehensive strategies for content that addresses user information needs within digital products.
* Leading and facilitating collaborative design activities, ideation sessions, and cross-functional work.
* Articulating the strategic rationale behind content decisions and offering expert design guidance to product teams.
* Providing practical direction on communication standards, tools, channels, and processes to the broader design team.
* Championing user needs and interests in all discussions regarding content’s role in product design.
* **Driving Content Creation:**
* Producing client-focused textual content, including labels, explanatory text, hidden or alternative text, metadata, and support content, for both internal and external product use.
* Ensuring all content aligns with design principles and overarching design and product strategies.
* Collaborating with peers to shape and develop non-textual content elements such as iconography, information graphics, imagery, and data.
* Implementing Inclusive Design principles in all content design and creation efforts.
* Partnering with legal, compliance, and regulatory teams to ensure all digital communications meet necessary standards.
* Managing the documentation and lifecycle of content from creation to archival.
* **Leading Research and Testing:**
* Collaborating with designated Design Researchers to define critical questions for research and testing activities.
* Working with Testing and Design Leads to initiate and evaluate the effectiveness of specific content strategies and executions.
* Conducting competitive research on content and messaging strategies and performing comprehensive content audits.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**
* A post-secondary education, with a university degree or college diploma preferred.
* A minimum of 4 years of writing experience within a creative agency or an in-house creative team.
* Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a critical approach to challenges.
* Proficiency in English.
* A compelling portfolio showcasing your copywriting work.
**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**
* Proficiency in French.
* A working knowledge of accessibility standards and practical methods for addressing them.
* Familiarity with current design and technology trends.
