Aquent has an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician in Bolingbrook, IL!
This role is 100% on-site, and has a specific schedule of Monday – Wednesday 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM. You must be able to work this schedule to be considered for this position.
In addition, to be considered for this role, you must:
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
- Be able to work on a W-2 basis. C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join a dynamic team, playing a pivotal role in the seamless preparation and distribution of vital medications. This is an exciting opportunity to directly impact patient care by ensuring prescriptions are processed with the utmost accuracy and speed. You will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of the medication fulfillment process, contributing to a system that delivers health and peace of mind to patients across the country.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Medication Fulfillment & Distribution: Precisely prepare, count, fill, label, pack, and ship prescription medications utilizing advanced fulfillment systems and automated machinery, maintaining strict quality control standards.
* Data Entry & Patient Registration: Accurately enter new patient demographics and prescription information into data processing systems, manage refill orders, and process new patient registrations following established guidelines and privacy regulations.
* Exception & Billing Resolution: Investigate and resolve complex prescription exceptions, claim rejects, and insurance billing issues. Troubleshoot missing prescription information and interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes) to ensure correct processing.
* Patient & Pharmacist Support: Provide essential assistance to patients and physicians through inbound and outbound communications, and support pharmacists with prescription interpretation and processing guidance.
* Operational Excellence:Maintain an orderly and clean work environment, and assist with the cleaning and maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
* Issue Escalation: Identify and communicate critical issues to senior-level staff as appropriate, contributing to continuous improvement and problem resolution.
**Required Qualifications:**
* High School Diploma or GED.
* Current Pharmacy Technician Registration and Certification as required by the state of operation or by a nationally recognized certification agency.
* 0 to 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
* Basic computer proficiency, including starting/shutting down systems, using a mouse, opening/closing programs, saving files, printing documents, and accessing online information.
* Basic search engine skills, including navigating browsers, entering URLs, using search engines, bookmarking sites, and completing online forms.
* Intermediate keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, touch typing, document formatting).
* Ability and willingness to perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, consistently meeting quality and productivity standards.
* Advanced keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, touch typing, document formatting).
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $17.10 to $19.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
