About the Role
In this pivotal design role, you will be at the forefront of creative development, transforming conceptual ideas into stunning, market-ready products. You’ll blend artistic vision with commercial acumen, ensuring every design not only captures the brand’s essence but also delights customers worldwide. This position offers a unique platform to influence product direction, mentor emerging talent, and contribute to a legacy of design excellence.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create compelling, brand-aligned designs that translate strategic vision into commercial success.
  • Drive product development with a keen focus on aesthetic appeal, practical functionality, and material innovation.
  • Deliver designs with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring flawless execution from concept to completion.
  • Generate precise design sketches, prototypes, and comprehensive specifications.
  • Iterate and refine designs based on collaborative feedback, guiding them to finalization.
  • Confidently present design concepts and market insights to internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners, utilizing both digital and in-person review formats.
  • Champion the customer by implementing strategies to understand and anticipate their evolving needs.
  • Proactively research and recommend new ideas and resources, staying ahead of competitor trends and market innovations.
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with key partners, including Merchandising and Product Development teams.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential design and process challenges.
  • Mentor, inspire, and develop junior design talent, fostering a culture of growth and creativity.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize design processes for enhanced efficiency and speed.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet budget and timeline constraints without compromising design integrity.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive design experience within a comparable retail environment.
  • Exceptional design talent with a proven commercial eye for fashion and product styling/performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to create original design sketches and contribute to successful product lines.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Willingness to undertake moderate domestic and minimal international travel.
