We are looking for an Event Planner for one of our Global retail clients. This will be a 8-month hybrid engagement based in Beaverton, OR. You’ll be the driving force behind crafting unforgettable experiences that amplify brand messaging and captivate audiences. Partnering with Aquent and a leading innovative organization, you’ll leverage your expertise to shape events from concept to execution, leaving a lasting impression on the industry.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, develop, and execute event marketing strategies aligned with overarching brand initiatives.
- Masterfully coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring seamless event execution.
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors, securing the best resources for impactful events.
- Collaborate with product teams to determine product needs, integrating them seamlessly into event experiences.
- Lead project teams, fostering collaboration and driving successful event outcomes.
- Oversee budget planning, development, and management, adhering to financial guidelines.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of directly relevant event planning experience
- Proven ability to manage budgets and negotiate contracts
- Exceptional project management and communication skills
- One of the following alternatives may be accepted:
- PhD or Law + 3 yrs
- Masters + 4 yrs
- Associates degree + 6 yrs
- High School + 7 yrs
