Aquent is partnering with a Global Beauty company that needs a Senior Art Director. Their marketing organization includes a strategic team of big thinkers and creatives who truly work interdependently. Your Role
As a Senior Art Director, you will be responsible for leading multiple strategic marketing programs. Reporting to the Associate Creative Director, you will lead your team in building brand identity and developing concepts for various marketing campaigns and programs—driving projects from initial idea through execution across all channels.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Associate Creative Director in developing strategic marketing campaign concepts that provide creative solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead multiple projects and manage/motivate a team of an Art Director and 2–3 Designers.
  • Direct your team to build concept boards, photo briefs, and designs across multiple channels to visualize concepts.
  • Lead photoshoots and art direct photographers and stylists to execute creative visions.
  • Assign resources and manage capacity planning for your team.
  • Present creative concepts and deliverables in various settings.
  • Partner closely with Editorial, Visual Merchandising, Content Production, and Marketing to develop and deliver creative for a robust 360° client experience.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners.
  • Direct the work of strategic agency partners.
  • Experience in Beauty Industry 

Skills & Qualifications

  • 7–9+ years of design and art direction experience.
  • BA or BFA preferred in Graphic Design or Communication Design.
  • Proven team management experience.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; excellent time management and ability to juggle priorities.
  • Strong relationship-building skills; ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders across disciplines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge and experience in retail, beauty, or fashion, with an understanding of current industry-related trends.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
