Collaborate with a dynamic team of architects, engineers, and healthcare professionals to bring innovative facility projects to life.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the feasibility and planning of complex facility projects, partnering closely with design and construction teams. Your expertise in medical planning will be essential in developing programmatic requirements and test fits that align with industry best practices and regulatory standards. You’ll act as a liaison between stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your planning expertise to directly impact the delivery of world-class healthcare.
What You’ll Do:

  • Manage communications with stakeholders and leadership, providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and next steps.
  • Develop compelling presentations for stakeholders and partners, clearly articulating project objectives and progress.
  • Ensure project compliance with departmental, organizational, and governmental policies and regulations.
  • Develop programmatic requirements and test fits for new projects, incorporating medical planning standards.
  • Manage, assess, and document project scope and program, outlining objectives, physical requirements, parameters, and constraints.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate, coherent, timely, and auditable project records and timelines.
  • Provide leadership, coordination, and support to project managers.
  • Manage the review and approval process of design work from conceptual pre-design through design development.
  • Identify and escalate potential project risks or escalations to management.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders across various departments and physician groups, gaining a deep understanding of their departmental workflows.

Must-Have Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
  • Knowledge of healthcare delivery, architecture, construction, and the building design process.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and developing solutions for complex issues.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with project management tools.
  • Ability to understand budgets and make financial projections.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
  • Experience developing high-level space programs and planning test fits.
  • Strong visual communication skills, including PowerPoint presentations.
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders and translating operational needs into planning solutions.
  • Skilled in navigating multi-disciplinary teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Degree in Architecture or a related field (Architecture license a plus).
  • Understanding of healthcare codes and regulations.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
  • Working knowledge of spreadsheets and formulas.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $73.49 to $97.17 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
