Be a guiding light for creators building immersive experiences on a cutting-edge platform. You will create and maintain top-tier documentation, code samples, and tutorials that empower developers to bring their visions to life. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, shaping the way developers interact with the platform and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in virtual reality.
Responsibilities:
- Craft and maintain accurate, concise, and engaging documentation, including API references, guides, and tutorials.
- Develop code samples and examples showcasing best practices for building immersive experiences.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to ensure documentation accuracy and relevance.
- Conduct research and interviews to understand developer needs and tailor content accordingly.
- Independently manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Continuously improve documentation based on feedback from internal and external users.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience writing for developers, focusing on technical documentation and code samples.
- Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience with version control systems.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills, distilling complex concepts into clear language.
- Ability to work independently and escalate issues as needed.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with 3D AR/VR gaming and technical writing for platforms.
- Experience working on large-scale technical documentation projects.
- Knowledge of media production and instructional design principles, with experience creating interactive tutorials and guides.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $73.58 to $81.76 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
