Please note this is a hybrid role in Cupertino, CA. You must be able to work 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and 2 days remote (Monday and Friday).

As a key member of the UAT team, you will be responsible for independently executing and tracking testing/validation efforts for mobile systems. You’ll design, develop, and implement test strategies, plans, cases, and scripts, ensuring comprehensive coverage across existing functionalities and new features. This role offers the chance to work on multiple initiatives, prioritizing feature and campaign testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, cases, and scripts, providing high test coverage across existing and new features.
- Perform hands-on testing of on-device experiences for users across a range of mobile applications.
- Develop automated tests for iOS platforms using Python and Swift.
- Manage multiple initiatives, prioritizing feature and campaign testing alongside documentation and timely delivery of end-to-end testing.
- Provide thorough documentation, including testing scope/overview, test plans, results, and associated tickets for resolution/prioritization.
- Deliver timely communication of status and progress, including test status reports, metrics, progress reports, coverage reports, defect reports, and associated documentation.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and/or User Acceptance Testing, with 5+ years in test automation for end-to-end systems.
- Expertise in Python, with a focus on writing test automation scripts.
- Expertise in iOS automation.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium and Appium.
- Experience designing and creating test automation frameworks and tools, specifically for end-to-end and on-device mobile testing.
- Experience with testing activities throughout the entire project lifecycle, from inception to delivery.
- Front-End Development experience: Designing and implementing user interfaces using JavaScript and frameworks like React.
- Back-End Development experience: Developing and maintaining server-side logic using languages such as Python; managing APIs; integrating third-party services and tools; ensuring data integrity and security by designing and managing databases in Postgres.
- DevOps and Maintenance experience: Implementing CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins; monitoring application performance and troubleshooting issues.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with tools like Charles, Git, and Jenkins.
- Experience automating data analytics and reporting across multiple systems.
- Strong understanding of software build tools and CI/CD integrations.
- Experience leading coordination with multiple engineering and product teams to expedite issue prioritization and resolution.
- Experience creating written test reports, showcasing test progress, status, test plan completion, defects identified, and associated risks.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $63 to $70 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
