As a UX Design Leader, you will:

  • Collaborate with engineers to translate design specifications (e.g., design specs, mock-ups, product models) into reality, ensuring seamless implementation.
  • Leverage data and metrics to assess product impact, understand user trends, and analyze the competitive landscape, informing design decisions with insightful data analysis.
  • Drive design enhancements based on user testing and stakeholder feedback, ensuring alignment with product goals and user needs.
  • Build consensus across teams, securing buy-in for design strategies from diverse stakeholders, effectively communicating your design approach and addressing potential challenges.
  • Contribute to project prioritization, aligning efforts with overarching project goals and optimizing resource allocation within the team.
  • Develop innovative design solutions that address user needs, business objectives, and industry trends, driving key performance indicators (KPIs) and contributing to overall product success.
  • Pioneer creative solutions to complex user, product, and business problems, anticipating design constraints and articulating the rationale behind design choices.
  • Lead the implementation of a holistic design process, design system, or design language across teams and products, fostering a cohesive and consistent user experience.
  • Guide UX designers in developing design concepts and conducting user research, ensuring a user-centered approach to product development.
  • Apply and adapt UX design frameworks, utilizing writing and design tools to visualize ideas, create mock-ups and prototypes, and drive the product vision forward.
  • Propose UX improvements based on user needs analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams to overcome constraints in strategy, product, or technology.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in data analysis, synthesis, and planning
  • Strong foundation in product design principles and methodologies
  • Proficiency in interactive technology and UX research methodologies
  • Deep understanding of the product development lifecycle
  • Excellent aesthetic sensibility and understanding of user behavior
  • Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills
  • Systems thinking approach to problem-solving
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to design craftsmanship

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience leading large-scale design projects or programs
  • Expertise in specific design tools or software
  • Background in a related field such as human-computer interaction or cognitive psychology

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $102.38 to $113.76 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
