Portfolio Operations Manager

We are looking for a Portfolio Operations Manager to drive operational excellence across our innovation programs. This role blends strategic product thinking with operational rigor, enabling our retail clients to scale breakthrough ideas into impactful business outcomes. This is a 6-month engagement onsite in Beaverton, OR. You will be responsible for managing portfolio-level operations, supporting product creation lifecycle execution, and ensuring data-driven decision-making across a diverse set
of innovation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Portfolio and Program Operations
– Manage day-to-day operations of the innovation portfolio, including intake, prioritization, data excellence, and resource alignment.
– Maintain and evolve portfolio dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools to track progress and surface insights.

Product & Process Management
– Partner with product managers and innovation leads to define and document workflows, success metrics, and operational standards.
– Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions.
– Ensure consistency and standardization across tools, templates, and documentation within Apparel and in partnership with central operations

Cross-Functional Collaboration
– Act as a liaison between Innovation, Finance, Strategy, and Product teams to align on goals, timelines, and deliverables.
– Facilitate communication and coordination across global stakeholders, including factory partners and external vendors.

Data and Compliance
– Ensure accurate and timely data entry, reconciliation, and reporting across systems (e.g., SAP, PIM, client’s internal tools).
– Support compliance with internal governance and external regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Product Management, or related field
– 3–6 years of experience in portfolio operations or business operations.
– Proficiency in Product Creation process/lifecycles
– Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups), Airtable, and data visualization tools.
– Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with shifting priorities.
– Preferred tools: Airtable, Miro, Keynote.

Preferred Attributes
– Experience in innovation,  or early-stage product development environments.
– Familiarity with the client’s product creation lifecycle and global supply chain operations.
– Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and drive cross-functional alignment.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $42.00 to $48.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
