About Team

We are a nimble and rapidly expanding group responsible for acquiring and marketing a diverse range of 24/7 linear streaming channels, from news and sports to true crime and reality. We partner with major studios and content providers like ABC, Disney, and NBC to bring exciting new content to our subscribers. Our team is spread across Seattle, Los Angeles, and New York, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment where change is constant and opportunities for impact are abundant.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will be instrumental in driving the growth and awareness. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Initiative Management: Lead and manage a portfolio of high-impact marketing initiatives designed to grow awareness and engagement for Fast Channels.
  • Awareness-Driven Marketing: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns to significantly increase the visibility and understanding of Fast Channels among streaming users.
  • Product Marketing Influence: Collaborate closely with product teams to influence where and how Fast Channels appear within the application, optimizing discoverability and user experience.
  • Marketing Effectiveness: Ensure the effectiveness of marketing efforts created both internally and in partnership with Fast Channel providers, driving measurable business impact.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze marketing campaign performance, tracking impressions and other key metrics, and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement to achieve business objectives.
  • Partner Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with content partners, regularly meeting to align on marketing strategies and opportunities.
  • Content Focus: Take a lead role in developing marketing strategies specifically for news content within the next 6 months, an area of significant focus for the team.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with merchandising managers and product marketing managers to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.

A Day in the Life

You’ll be managing several key initiatives, requiring a keen eye for detail and strong follow-up on individual projects. This is a full-fledged marketing role that combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You’ll be influencing product decisions, creating impactful marketing, and analyzing performance to drive growth.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in marketing, with a strong preference for 10+ years in a senior-level marketing role.
  • Proven experience in campaign marketing, including leading marketing efforts from a partner standpoint.
  • Demonstrated experience with data analysis and using insights to inform marketing strategies and drive performance.
  • Experience in managing marketing teams, including remotely managed team members.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a VP of Marketing or Director of Marketing within a studio environment, or an equivalent executive-style role.
  • A deep understanding of the streaming video landscape and linear content.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $82.65 to $91.84 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
