Business Intelligence Analyst

Overview

This is a US based remote position (PST time zone) for an 11 month engagement (with possible extension up to 18 months)

Aquent Talent is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join a cutting-edge team at a leading global technology company. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping data-driven decision-making by crafting impactful reports and visualizations. As a key member of the Business Intelligence team, you will contribute directly to the company’s success by providing actionable insights derived from various data sources. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage cutting-edge technologies, and play a vital role in shaping the future of data analysis within the organization.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop insightful reports and dashboards using data visualization tooI, translating complex data into clear, actionable visualizations.
• Leverage Kusto, ADO (Azure DevOps), and Cosmos DB to extract, transform, and analyze data from diverse sources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide data-driven recommendations for business improvement.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of data pipelines and reporting infrastructure.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous quality control processes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in BI tools and techniques.

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of experience with PowerBI and Kusto.
• 5+ years of proficiency with ADO (Azure DevOps)
• 5+ years of experience with Cosmos DB.
• 5+ years of experience in technical problem-solving, including spreadsheets software proficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Proven ability to conduct research and synthesize information from multiple sources.
• Strong project management skills.
• Experience working with large datasets.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $47 to $52 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
