Position Overview
Seeking Paid Search Media & Analytics Lead to support the Public & Government Affairs (P&GA) Corporate Marketing team of Global Energy Company. This role will drive the implementation of a holistic media measurement strategy, maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of media investments, and enhance reporting and data-driven insights for marketing performance. The ideal candidate combines deep media analytics expertise with strategic thinking and strong collaboration skills across internal and external teams.
Key Responsibilities
Media Expertise
- Provide media expertise to P&GA, collaborating with internal functions and external partners.
- Consult on the development and execution of media plans to align with P&GA’s business and marketing strategy.
- Lead, guide, and track media investment budgets, platforms, and media mix to support business objectives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of media plans using available reporting and analytics.
Holistic Measurement Strategy
- Lead the implementation and ongoing tracking of a holistic measurement strategy across all paid media channels.
- Work closely with analytics agency partners to develop and maintain a comprehensive data strategy, including governance, tagging, and taxonomy.
- Coordinate and provide measurement and analytics support to integrate paid media channels with owned channels for unified insights and optimization.
Technology Integration
- Assess and recommend technology platforms that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of paid media investments.
- Enable faster, data-driven optimizations in paid media campaigns through tech solutions and platform integrations.
Reporting & Insights
- Lead coordination and delivery of multiple reports covering upper funnel, performance, and CRM/Salesforce metrics.
- Synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders to inform media strategy and investment decisions.
Collaboration & Best Practices
- Collaborate with global teams and other P&GA, corporate communications, media, analytics, and IT teams.
- Share and leverage industry best practices, cross-business-unit learnings, data strategies, and martech platforms where applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in media analytics, media strategy, or marketing analytics roles.
- Strong expertise in media planning, measurement, and performance analysis across digital and traditional channels.
- Deep understanding of data governance, tagging, and taxonomy best practices.
- Experience working with analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Salesforce, media measurement tools).
- Proficiency with media technology platforms and understanding of martech ecosystems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to translate technical data into actionable business insights.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
