This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute your expertise to a leading organization and play a key role in shaping their compensation strategies. You will be instrumental in ensuring fair and equitable pay practices, contributing to a positive and rewarding work environment. This is a direct hire, onsite opportunity, based in Houston. Relocation is not available, so only local candidates will be considered at this time.
As a Compensation Analyst, you will be a vital member of the Human Resources team, collaborating with various stakeholders to design, develop, and implement comprehensive compensation programs. Your analytical skills and deep understanding of compensation principles will be essential in driving key initiatives and ensuring the organization’s continued success.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and deliver a full range of human resources initiatives focused on fair and equitable pay practices.
- Participate in the preparation and administration of merit ratings, annual salary reviews, and incentive programs.
- Review offers of employment, conduct internal equity reviews, and provide salary recommendations.
- Provide actionable insights based on historical HR performance metrics and KPIs.
- Collaborate with IT to implement related initiatives.
- Prepare ad-hoc and annual organizational chart changes; provide organization design alternatives.
- Design effective job descriptions and career paths to support employee selection, transition, and career growth.
- Align organizational change plans and proposals with the company’s overall business strategy.
- Ensure adequate documentation is maintained for all HR-related transactions.
- Collaborate with internal organizations to develop holistic business solutions.
- Deliver impactful presentations to management.
- Advise management on compensation and organization design matters.
- Serve as a liaison between HR and other relevant organizations.
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources Management or Business Administration.
- At least ten (10) years of experience in Human Resources, preferably within the oil & gas industry.
- Strong working background in compensation and organizational capability, with change management experience highly desired.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Strong work ethic, adherence to company policies, and professional business etiquette.
Nice-to-Haves:
- CCP, SHRM or other compensation or broad HR certification.
