Join a leading energy services company as a Process Designer. In this critical role, you’ll transform complex engineering data into clear, concise, and actionable process designs, directly impacting project success from initiation to installation. Your expertise will be essential in optimizing processes and driving efficiency within a dynamic and innovative environment.
As a Process Designer, you will be a key technical contributor, shaping the visual representation of complex processes. You’ll translate engineering data into detailed PFDs and P&IDs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry best practices. This role offers opportunities to mentor other designers and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes. Be prepared to occasionally lead projects, review drawings, and coordinate project activities, showcasing your versatility and leadership potential.

What You’ll Do:

  • Analyze engineering design data for completeness and consistency.
  • Develop PFDs and P&IDs using CAD and AVEVA software.
  • Ensure drawing accuracy and adherence to client and company standards.
  • Manage project status reports and track progress.
  • Create and maintain databases within AVEVA for process engineering drawings.
  • Extract process data from AVEVA for interdisciplinary use (line lists, valve lists, etc.).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Mentor designers in AVEVA, CAD, and Intelligent P&ID tools.

Must-Haves:

  • 10+ years of experience in the Process Industry.
  • Experience working in EPCs or Engineering Consultancies, preferably with Production Facility Engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in AVEVA software suite.
  • Advanced skills in CAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with Adobe XD and After Effects.
  • Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.

    The target hiring compensation range for this role is $54 to $60 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
