As a Copywriter, you’ll craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences and drive engagement across various digital channels. Partnering with a leading energy provider, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how they communicate their brand story and connect with customers. This is a part-time opportunity that is hybrid in Houston.
This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute to a dynamic team and make a tangible impact on a large scale. You will collaborate with marketing partners, creative peers, and the website content team to develop high-performing copy for web pages (including landing pages and SEO-driven content), blog posts, product descriptions, and email campaigns. Your expertise will ensure consistent brand messaging and an elevated customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Write and edit impactful long-form and short-form content across various digital platforms.
- Provide constructive feedback on content, focusing on audience engagement, brand voice, and conversion optimization.
- Translate complex energy concepts into clear, concise, and accessible language for a wide range of audiences.
- Collaborate with marketing managers, subject matter experts, and designers to ensure content aligns with strategic objectives.
- Maintain editorial standards, ensuring all content adheres to brand guidelines and industry best practices.
- Uphold consistent brand voice, style, and tone across all marketing materials.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- A portfolio showcasing exceptional writing skills.
- Impeccable command of the English language, with adaptability to various tones and styles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to write for diverse audiences, from technical experts to the general public.
- Strong research skills and the ability to quickly grasp complex subjects.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices, digital marketing, and content strategy.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant writing and editing experience.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $38.99 to $43.33 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
