As a key member of a dynamic research team, you will play a vital role in uncovering user insights that drive product development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct impactful research, and contribute directly to the success of a groundbreaking product.
What You’ll Do:

  • Employ diverse qualitative and quantitative research methods to generate actionable user insights.
  • Translate product team objectives into well-structured research plans.
  • Independently conduct studies, including ethnographic explorations, one-on-one interviews, and usability testing, with mentorship from experienced research leads.
  • Synthesize research data and create compelling reports and presentations that communicate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate effectively with researchers, designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure research aligns with product strategy.

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience in user experience, applied research, or product development; or Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience; or PhD with relevant experience.
  • Proven proficiency in conducting in-depth interviews, focus groups, concept testing, and usability testing.
  • Hands-on experience with primary research execution.
  • Strong ability to translate research findings into strategic narratives.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in consumer products, consumer insights, or product development.
  • Academic background in a human behavior-related field such as Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Neuroscience, Communication, Information Science, Media Studies, Computer Science, or Economics.
  • 5+ years of experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Experience working on tech products and driving research insights.
  • Experience in zero-to-one research.
  • Consulting experience at leading design and innovation firms.
  • In-house tech experience.
