Join a leading global professional services company as a Marketing & Communications Practitioner specializing in post-merger integration (PMI). Drive impactful communications strategies that seamlessly onboard acquired companies, fostering a sense of belonging for new team members and creating valuable market connections for clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of a dynamic, growing organization.

As a key member of the marketing and communications team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing integrated PMI plans. Collaborate with senior leadership, stakeholders across various business units, and a global M+C team to ensure a smooth transition of all marketing and communications activities for newly acquired companies.

– This is a hybrid role, onsite in our client’s NYC office 3 days per week and 2 days remote.

– A background check must be completed/cleared prior to starting this assignment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the V&A Communications Deal Lead to define and implement comprehensive post-merger integration plans.
  • Position the M+C team as a strategic advisor by guiding and delivering on all aspects of PMI, from announcement to full integration.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, acquisition leadership, and the global M+C team.
  • Implement best practices across various areas, including data privacy, employee engagement, storytelling, events, and talent brand marketing.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 9-10 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably with experience in acquisitions, large organizations, and global/remote teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to simplify complex information for a broad audience.
  • Strong organizational, program, time management, and project management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, influence, mediation, conflict management, and executive stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Basic written and oral communication skills in additional European languages.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $82.50 to $91.67 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
