You will be a key player in shaping user experiences by designing, conducting, and analyzing research studies that directly influence product development. As a User Researcher, you will:

  • Design and implement impactful research studies, utilizing methods like semi-structured interviews, usability tests, and surveys to gather valuable user insights.
  • Skillfully execute research studies, from programming surveys in Qualtrics to conducting insightful interviews with participants.
  • Analyze research results and effectively communicate your findings through compelling presentations and reports, influencing product strategy and design decisions.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 4+ years of experience in an applied research setting
  • Proven experience with research design and analysis using various methods (e.g., usability studies, contextual inquiry, surveys)
  • Proficiency in Qualtrics and basic statistical techniques
  • Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to synthesize findings into concise insights and engage stakeholders with research outcomes.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Successful track record of managing user research programs, employing a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Deep understanding of various research methods, including usability testing, concept testing, diary studies, literature reviews, focus groups, and surveys
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and proactively
  • Passionate about user research with a keen eye for detail, innovative thinking, a creative spirit, and a strong team-oriented approach
  • Familiarity with commonly used software and operating systems

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $81.16 to $90.18 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
