As an ESG and Sustainability Data Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping how this innovative company approaches environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to elevate data maturity, ensuring data integrity and security. Your expertise will be essential in enabling data analysis and performance tracking, directly contributing to the company’s sustainability commitments and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities:
- Oversee ESG data management and governance within the business group.
- Develop and implement data management strategies focused on data quality, integrity, and security.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve data maturity and drive audit readiness.
- Enable data analysis and performance tracking to support sustainability commitments and regulatory requirements.
- Drive innovative approaches and data analysis to create actionable impact towards sustainability and ESG performance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, product management, sustainability experts) to define and execute data management plans.
- Ensure data management practices meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and security.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders and senior management.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external partners.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Sustainability, Data Science, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sustainability.
- 5+ years of experience with sustainability data sets and data analysis, focusing on ESG data.
- 5+ years of experience in data visualization.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Certification in data management, change management, or project management (e.g., CDMP, PMP).
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $60.19 to $66.88 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
