The Marketing Manager is a subject matter expert in the art and science of marketing strategy, go-to-market planning, and campaign execution. As a key individual contributor, this role exercises considerable judgment to make decisions in steering 360 marketing initiatives related to our credit card portfolio within the loyalty space.
Key Duties
- Act as a subject matter expert to develop and execute marketing strategies in partnership with business or product owners that achieve key objectives.
- With minimal direction from leadership, formulate cross-functional marketing plans, go-to-market strategies, and implementation across the portfolio, utilizing data-driven customer insights and ensuring alignment across channel teams.
- Manage end-to-end marketing plans including defining objectives, identifying audience insights, developing media strategy, creative brief writing, and production across multiple channels including social, video, OOH, and digital.
- Lead agency project management for marketing campaigns, informing top-tier creative through compelling briefs, influencing media strategies, and ensuring on-time and on-budget project delivery. Serve as a proactive client partner who can get the best performance out of our agencies.
- Collaborate with business groups across the portfolio, aligning on key benefits and translating them to compelling marketing messages.
- Influence cross-functionally and build relationships with internal product, program, business groups, fostering collaboration and effective working dynamics.
- Facilitate budget management, including forecasting, invoice processing, accruals, and reporting.
Job-Specific Skills, Experience & Education
Required
- 4+ years of experience in loyalty, credit card marketing, or related area.
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Marketing, or a related discipline, or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree
- Proven ability to gather and leverage consumer insights to inform marketing strategy.
- Ability to transition from high-level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a results driven approach.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across wide range of stakeholders.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Proficient in building presentations in PowerPoint and constructing and navigating spreadsheets in Excel.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred
- Experience within travel, hospitality, or aviation industry.
- Preferred requirements if desired, not needed.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $35 to $40 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan.
