Be a Catalyst for Change:
In this pivotal role, you’ll be embedded within a product, journey, or channel team, proactively identifying opportunities for research and proposing innovative methodologies to address critical business and design objectives. You’ll conduct user research, analyze findings, and effectively communicate your insights to cross-functional teams, ensuring that research informs every step of the design process. Your work will empower the team to create intuitive, user-centered experiences that meet the evolving needs of customers.
Responsibilities That Drive Impact:

  • Develop and execute research strategies, collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize research activities and align with business goals.
  • Design and conduct user research studies, utilizing a range of methodologies (moderated and unmoderated) to gather valuable insights.
  • Moderate user interviews and facilitate collaborative workshops, uncovering user needs and pain points.
  • Analyze research data, synthesize findings, and translate complex information into actionable insights.
  • Communicate research implications to cross-functional teams, influencing design decisions and product development.
  • Champion user-centered design principles, ensuring that the customer voice is at the heart of every product.

Must-Have:

  • BA/BS degree in Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Information Studies, Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science (CS), or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in research.
  • Solid understanding of design research theory and proficiency with design research tools.
  • Working knowledge of various design research methodologies.
  • Proven experience working effectively on cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have:

  • MA/MS degree or certification in a related field.
  • Understanding and appreciation for design thinking principles.
  • Experience working within a large organization and an agile environment.
  • Experience contributing to the launch of a digital product.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $47.81 to C$53.13 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
