As an Applications Developer with Aquent, you’ll dive into the fascinating world of IVR systems, gaining valuable experience in integration and development with cutting-edge technologies. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cost-saving initiatives related to IVR Workflow and Visual IVR. You’ll be part of a team dedicated to supporting both commercial and consumer-facing businesses. This position involves a blend of teamwork and focused development time, allowing you to collaborate with colleagues while also dedicating significant time to hands-on coding, deployment, and testing. Your work will directly impact how users interact with support systems, making their experience smoother and more efficient.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and deploy code for cost-saving initiatives related to IVR Workflow and Visual IVR.
  • Work with analysis, testing, and business owner teams to understand desired system functionality.
  • Serve as the primary developer for high-complexity functions.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to other development team members.
  • Provide the development lead with work estimates.
  • Drive technology architecture decisions.
  • Create technical design documents.
  • Create and maintain the development environment.
  • Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to development specifications.
  • Create and execute unit tests.
  • Communicate and defend design choices, requirements, and system limitations.
  • Resolve code issues raised by analysis or test teams.
  • Collaborate with project team members, product/program managers, and vendors.
  • Develop tools to aid the development process (e.g., basic test automation).
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Deliver technical architecture documentation, design specifications, commented code, and user guides.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent certification).
  • At least eight years of experience in C#
  • At least eight years of experience with React.
  • At least eight years of experience in full-stack development.
  • Ability to work PST core hours.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience within the .NET Framework
  • Experience with both front-end (UX) and back-end services, ideally within an enterprise-level backend frameworks
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDL) process.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create clear technical documentation.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $65 to $75 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
