As a User Experience Designer, you will be a key player in crafting the next generation of experiences for a suite of innovative devices. As a UX Designer, you will collaborate with a talented team of multi-disciplinary designers to create and deliver core UX/UI elements that enhance user experiences across a range of devices. You will conceptualize, illustrate, and develop visually compelling designs, working closely with interaction designers, researchers, engineers, and product managers throughout the design lifecycle. You will be a champion for design excellence, contributing to product vision and defining the visual language for innovative user experiences.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop scalable UX illustrations across devices through a systematic approach.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, designers, and engineers to create stunning UX illustrations in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
- Present design concepts to stakeholders, showcasing your storytelling and tastemaking skills.
- Evolve illustration frameworks for future innovation.
Must-Haves:
- 3+ years of design experience
- An available online portfolio
- Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or equivalent design-related field
- 2+ years of experience as a visual UI designer, interaction designer, or similar role
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Cloud
Nice-to-Haves:
- A portfolio showcasing experience creating UX illustrations.
- Experience designing iconography within an established design system.
- Demonstrated visual design expertise through illustrated design concepts, case studies, documentation, mockups, and style guides.
- Experience creating inspiring design concepts that inform the future vision for a digital product.
- Experience collaborating with motion designers and illustrators.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience partnering with technical product and engineering teams for design implementation.
- Experience designing for mobile apps or other interactive digital platforms.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity to drive the design cycle and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $49.46 to $54.96 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
