You will be a key player in building scalable data models and pipelines, ensuring data quality and accessibility for critical business initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive critical initiatives to scale the data platform to meet evolving business needs and technological advancements.
  • Build scalable data models and data pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), ensuring secure data storage with a focus on data quality and compliance using cloud-based data services 
  • Develop and build datasets for integration with AI/ML applications.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines (YAML + Classic) for data engineering projects.
  • Anticipate and address data governance needs, designing data modeling and handling procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and policies. Govern data accessibility within assigned pipelines.
  • Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), guiding other engineers, and working on-call to monitor systems for performance issues and initiate corrective actions.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
  • 5+ years of experience building data pipelines and data stores.
  • 5+ years experience with proficiency in Microsoft Fabric technology.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
  • Strong experience with SQL and database technologies.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Experience with programming languages like Scala and Java
  • Proficiency with modern data analytics platforms

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $65 to $75 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
