Seeking an Associate Manager, Creative Strategy to join the in-house acquisition creative operations team, supporting strategy, planning and execution of media assets. The right candidate will have a passion for both creative and digital media, with an understanding of performance tactics and platform best practices. They will also bring a highly analytical, data-driven and flexible approach to the role, which will be essential to delivering breakthrough thinking for our Subscriber Acquisition team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support daily operations for Creative Strategy team through campaign management duties and creative related projects needed across performance media channels
- Lead operations and trafficking across key priority projects: Bundle prioritization, price changes, pricing promotions and Student Plan media
- Build and maintain new approvals processes to support Bundle prioritization work
- Sync AirTable bases to allow for joint calendars, experimentation roadmaps and leadership memos
- Develop and maintain materials used to support alignment of cross-channel strategies and campaign creative (ex: AirTable Campaign Priorities Calendar, Flex Creative Playbook, etc)
- Assist in development of creative requests, approval timelines and final delivery to ensure creative is in alignment with strategy and delivered to meet campaign goals (gathering asset production needs, assisting in timely creative reviews and feedback, tracking against key deadlines and milestones, etc)
- Maintain all workback schedules for creative production and work through any bottlenecks while communicating any delays to the respective creative and trafficking teams
- Partner with team members and agency partners to pull reports and aggregate insights
- Facilitate monthly audits with strategy teams to ensure all creative in market is up-to-date
- Partner with Ad Ops and Media teams for seamless trafficking and campaign launch across channels
- Act as the main point of contact for any trafficking or creative issues
- Create, update and monitor all creative tickets in AirTable project management platform
- Work cross-functionally with data and analytics teams to ensure all creative rotations are being communicated across media channels and leads
- Assist in conceptualization and execution of team’s creative testing roadmap when needed
- Automate the Affiliate Teams Editorial Content tracker and sync to Creative Strategy base
- Support creative experimentation within biddable media channels, ideating on incrementality or directional tests to improve efficacy of performance media
- Lead day-to-day work with the creative agency of record
- Bridge the gap between the creative agency and paid media channel owners
- Campaign management duties and creative-related projects across performance media channels
- Operations and trafficking processes
- Work on projects related to Air Table for workflow automation
- Use data to inform creative execution
Preferred Background
- Creative background with interest in paid media or vice versa (Paid Media background with interest in creative side)
- Familiarity with project management tools (Air Table preferred)
- General Microsoft Office skills
- Organizational and project management skills
- Experience routing for approvals and balancing feedback from multiple stakeholders
- Background in paid social and influencers is helpful
Basic Qualifications
- 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in media or creative management
- Bachelor’s degree. Preferably in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field
- General understanding of paid media and direct response campaigns; as well as general ad operations knowledge and experience with asset tagging and trafficking (i.e. via DCM)
- Experience with marketing creative production (from conception to asset production and delivery) and an understanding of how to apply data and analytics to help guide creative choices that optimize creative performance
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions and change course of action quickly
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage accountability well across multiple work streams in a dynamic, highly charged environment
- Highly collaborative creative sensibility, with ability to be open minded to feedback and always seeking out the best idea, not just their own idea
- Keen eye for detail and strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to direct agencies and internal teams in a proactive, productive and positive manner
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)
- Entertainment industry experience, either in-house or at an agency
- Experience with Airtable or other project management tools
- Familiarity with design software (i.e. Photoshop, AfterEffects & Premiere)
Education Requirements
Required: Bachelor’s degree
Preferred: Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45 to $50 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
