As a Technical Artist, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team, collaborating to develop immersive experiences across various devices. You’ll dive into the technical intricacies of real-time environments, optimizing performance while bringing artistic concepts to life. Your problem-solving skills will be essential as you diagnose and resolve technical challenges, ensuring seamless integration between art and technology. This role empowers you to shape the future of user experiences, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop experiences across a range of devices.
• Implement runtime logic within a complex real-time environment, prioritizing performance.
• Provide technical expertise across various artistic and technical tasks, including bug diagnosis and resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leads to quickly address and resolve issues.
• Design, manage, and maintain artist workflows, ensuring efficiency and creativity.
• Develop end-to-end real-time experience prototypes.
• Author state-machines, retarget animation, and process animation data.
• Provide and receive constructive feedback, define next steps, and communicate clear goals and outcomes.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience developing real-time experiences.
• Demonstrated expertise with either Runtime Behaviors or Asset Pipelines.
• Proficiency in content authoring packages (e.g., Maya, Houdini, Blender).
• Expertise in at least one low-level programming language.
• Expertise in character animation and motion mapping.
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git, Perforce, etc.) using advanced workflows.
• Experience collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• VR, MR, and AR experience
• Knowledge of emerging AI technologies
• Experience with game optimization techniques
• Experience working with Unity and/or Unreal

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $59.01 to $65.57 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
