Responsibilities:

  • Craft, edit, and review diverse content, from creative copy to informative text, adapting your writing style to suit various platforms and audiences.
  • Leverage your analytical skills to generate insightful reports that inform strategic decision-making for partners.
  • Apply established guidelines to review content at scale, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with content and product teams to enhance user experience and platform functionality.
  • Maintain flexibility to work an extended schedule, including weekends, as needed.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in journalism, digital content strategy, production, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in prompt engineering, annotation, and utilizing AI tools.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and editorial judgment regarding sensitive topics (politics, bias, gender, religion, etc.) to ensure quality control of large text datasets.
  • Familiarity with AP Style.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet applications (e.g., Google Sheets, MS Excel) and/or other data analysis tools.
  • Ability to conduct and support basic data analysis and visualization.
  • Experience creating and publishing multimedia content (text, audio, and video).
  • Background in visual experience (photo editing, video production) or creative writing.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of the social media landscape.
  • Storytelling experience.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $50.85 to $56.50 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
