The ideal candidate brings experience writing for ecommerce, B2B or tech platforms and can adapt messaging for multiple audience segments and marketing goals.
In this exciting role, you will:
- Conceptualize and execute engaging seasonal campaigns, crafting compelling headlines and content that drives customer engagement.
- Develop subject matter expertise in specific departments and categories, becoming a go-to resource for all things copy.
- Collaborate with talented graphic designers to create visually appealing and effective marketing materials.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with business owners, gaining valuable insights into the inner workings of a large retail organization.
- Shape the brand’s voice across various platforms, from website content to email marketing and social media ads.
- Mentor and manage less experienced writers, fostering their growth and development.
Top 3 Must Haves:
- B2B Copywriting expertise – The ability to write compelling, benefit-and feature-driven content across a range of assets including product launch collateral, landing pages, awareness and lifecycle emails, and more
- Cross-functional collaboration – Ability to work closely with product managers, ops managers, designers, PMMs, and strategists to align messaging with business goals
- Strategic thinking and content optimization – Comfortable creating messaging strategies that align with product and marketing objectives, and iterating based on performance insights
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing Communications, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a copywriting role at a publication, ad agency, or online retailer.
- 3+ years of experience developing copy concepts in a retail or marketing setting.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $59.40 to $66.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
