As a Publishing Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in fostering relationships with talented songwriters and connecting them with groundbreaking opportunities. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with renowned creatives, A&R teams, and the broader music publishing community. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing innovative strategies that empower songwriters and amplify their impact within a vibrant ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate strong relationships with key creative and A&R music publishing teams, songwriters, publishers, performance rights organizations, industry bodies, and ambassadors.
- Identify and deliver innovative creative opportunities for songwriters within a dynamic tech environment.
- Empower creative partners to understand and navigate a unique ecosystem, engage with its platform and subscribers, and unlock incremental value within their musical compositions.
- Collaborate closely with the publishing team to ensure a consistent and unified relationship with partners.
- Coordinate and organize visits from songwriters, producers, and partners.
- Educate the songwriting and publishing community about available opportunities.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of relevant experience.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage projects and initiatives.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet applications for tracking purposes (e.g., Excel, Airtable).
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively with internal stakeholders and creatives.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Logic System.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $51.33 to $57.04 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
