Do you have an eye for detail and thrive wearing many hats? As an Employee Communications Specialist you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Manager of Communications and Employee Engagement to help migrate our existing intranet to a new global platform for our corporate audience. Not only will you help to organize and curate an extensive collection of intranet pages, documents, and files, but you’ll be part of a collaborative team including global experts and will also support our change management strategy to launch the new intranet to over 2,000 corporate users!

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the internal newsroom team and the global communications team to learn how to maintain, administer, and create intranet site content including documents, video, photos, and other related media
  • Using templates and guidelines to help adapt existing SharePoint intranet content to a new intranet site
  • Assisting with drafting, editing, and publishing news content for our weekly newsletter
  • Demonstrating our client’s values: Welcome All to the World of Beauty; Grow Together, Win Together; Inspire, Uplift & Celebrate; Lead with Passion and Heart, and imagine Fearlessly, Make It Happen.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of employee intranet management experience
  • 3-5 years of experience with employee communications, PR, journalism, or related field
  • Ability to focus on details and share relevant work progress status updates with global partners in an online, collaborative work environment
  • Excellent writing and communications skills (creativity welcome!)
  • Experience with web and digital content publishing platforms such as SharePoint, LumApps, Word Press, Drupal, Mailchimp or similar.
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office suite or collaboration software (e.g., Smartsheet, Box). Adobe suite knowledge and experience a plus.
  • Passion for people and employee experience
  • Ability to work in an events environment; willingness to travel; lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $30.40 to $33.78 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
