Our client is looking for a seasoned content design CW to drive strategy and content across our Avatars editor experience – enabling users to create and edit their avatars in both headset and on mobile.
This team works with cross-functional teams to expand on representation and modes of expression, and to make it easy and fun to edit, customize, and use avatars wherever people want to. You’ll collaborate with partners in Product Design, User Research, Art, Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, and beyond to design best-in-class experiences—while being a strong advocate for users and content design best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Designing Avatar editor experience
- Work close with product designers
- Partner with content designers
- This team works with cross-functional teams to expand on representation and modes of expression, and to make it easy and fun to edit, customize, and use avatars wherever people want to.
- You’ll collaborate with partners in Product Design, User Research, Art, Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, and beyond to design best-in-class experiences—while being a strong advocate for users and content design best practices.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Design or a related field
- 5+ years’ experience in UX writing
- Examples of finished wireframes, or design mocks co-authored using design tools, that have been used to drive decision-making within a team
- Experience simplifying and communicating complex ideas to broad audiences in a compelling way
- Familiarity with tools for managing and updating content at scale
- Examples of work in design systems and systems thinking
- Demonstrated experience leading projects with minimal direction and handling a large degree of ambiguity
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $65.24 to $72.49 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
