Software Engineer

Overview

Responsibilities:

• Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems, including coding, testing, debugging, and installing for a small- to mid-scale systems. 
• Provides leadership to the squad/work team, delivering a vision for work requirements for the quarter.
• Designs the scope of sprints within the quarter. 
• Within the scope of a work assignment, collaborates with the product owner and assists with managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring prompt and complete customer service.
• Commits to deliverables with customers and/or management.

Experience:

• 3+ years experience developing frontends using common web technologies including JavaScript, Typescript, React.js, and Node.js
• 2+ years experience developing backend APIs using Python
• 2+ years experience leveraging Relational and NoSQL databases to support business critical applications
• 3+ years professional experience with using cloud-native AWS technologies such as Lambda, ECS, RDS
• 2+ years professional experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform
• 2+ years experience managing and building deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and minimum of 8 or 9 years directly relevant work experience
• Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted:
• PhD or Law + 6 yr
• Masters + 7 yr
• Associates degree + 9 yr
• High School + 10 yrs

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $64.19 to $71.33 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
