This is a hybrid role in Santa Monica.
Pay Range: $41/hr – $46/hr​

Our team is looking for an experienced Windows IT Administrator Contractor to join our team. Qualified applicants need to be highly organized with strong communication skills, possess a customer-first mindset, and thrive in a fast-paced game production environment. We are looking for a skilled IT Administrator that will own the Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) implementation and infrastructure management for all users. In this role, you will work with game developers on their day-to-day technical infrastructure requirements which may include remote system and application support, network diagnostics, asset management and physical hardware configuration.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux server operating systems and applications.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Ensure security and efficiency of IT infrastructure.
  • Manage network servers and technology tools.
  • Set up accounts and workstations.
  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
  • Develop expertise to train staff in innovative technologies.
  • Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Windows IT Administrator, System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role.
  • Experience with networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management.
  • Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.
  • Experience with Azure and common cloud administration.
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • BS/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent experience; professional certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience

  1. Minimum 5 years experience with End user support (Application and hardware).
  2. Minimum 3 years experience with Azure
  3. Minimum 3 years experience with M365 admin/Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $41/hr – $46/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
