Our client is a leading technology company known for its innovative solutions across multiple domains, including Machine Learning platforms, data systems, and cloud-based services. With a focus on cutting-edge technologies and a commitment to high-quality services, the team within the MLPT Polymer Group supports a wide range of Machine Learning platform products and Data Platform systems. The group is focused on building reliable, scalable, and performant internal tools that play a critical role in their operational efficiency.

We are currently seeking an experienced contractor to assist with the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes, infrastructure, and support of these internal production tools. As part of a lean team, you will work to ensure high uptime, performance, and scalability for services, alongside infrastructure support for smooth, zero-downtime operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement CI/CD processes for service and client releases with ArgoCD.
  • Support the GitOps-based process to manage testing, code release, and image building.
  • Migrate services and manage production network traffic across Kubernetes infrastructures/clusters.
  • Ensure Kubernetes infrastructure is secure and up to date (e.g., managing API server and node updates).
  • Provide operational support for cloud-based service infrastructure including DNS, load balancing, ingress, and telemetry/logging.

Technical Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python.
  • 3-5 years of experience working with Kubernetes.
  • Expertise in ArgoCD for managed service deployment automation.
  • Proficiency in GitOps, Git, GitHub, and setting up CI/CD pipelines.
  • Operational experience with cloud-based service infrastructure (DNS, load balancing, ingress, telemetry/logging).

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team, building the tools and infrastructure that support high availability and sub-second latency for our client’s platform services. Your contributions will be critical to enabling a seamless, zero-downtime experience for internal customers.

If you have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and Kubernetes, we encourage you to apply!
