We are seeking Electrical Engineers, at varying levels of experience in low voltage (LV) wiring, electrical distribution system (EDS) components and body design responsible engineering (DRE).

 

Candidates will be part of a diverse team fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture, promoting continuous learning and professional development among team members.

Perform virtual and physical verification testing, including field testing.

Ensure designs conform to safety standards and U.S. government regulations.

Proactively stay attuned to consumer experience and propose system improvements accordingly.

Contribute to the design of production facilities for vehicle manufacturing.

Manage supplier resources efficiently to deliver components and systems that meet cost, timing, and quality targets.

 

Here’s what else you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, or combined electrical/mechanical engineering, systems engineering, or a relevant field.
  • 2-15+ years of experience in body electrical and/or electromechanical areas and relevant automotive assignments, covering all phases of product development (design, test, and launch).
  • Strong technical skills and expertise in body control systems, employing a six-sigma approach to engineering design and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with computer-aided engineering (CAE) or direct experience in this field.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with individuals at all organizational levels.

 

This is an onsite/hourly contract role in Novi. Candidates must be eligible to work in the US without a sponsorship.

 

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $44-62 per hour depending on experience. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
