Our Toronto-based client is seeking to add a Digital Marketing / Social Media Coordinator to their team, on a remote, part-time (20-30 hours / month) basis.  This is a long-term, open-ended opportunity with flexible hours. You will be responsible for managing and implementing digital marketing activities, focusing on website updates, Google My Business management, social media content strategy, bookkeeping/accounts, web content writing, and campaign tracking.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • **Website Updates:** Regularly update and maintain website content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • **Google My Business:** Manage and update Google Maps listings and ensure accurate business information across Google platforms.
  • **Social Media Content Strategy:** Execute social media strategies as directed to increase brand awareness and engagement. (organic posts, updates etc)
  • **Bookkeeping/Accounts:** Handle basic bookkeeping tasks and maintain records related to digital marketing expenditures.
  • **Web Content Writing:** Partner with digital manager to create compelling and SEO-friendly content for the website, blogs, and social media posts. Alternatively manage freelancer who will create content.
  • **Monthly Campaign Tracking:** Monitor and analyze digital marketing campaigns, prepare performance reports, and identify areas for optimization.
  • **General Support:** Provide administrative support to the marketing team and assist in ad-hoc marketing projects as needed.

 
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in digital marketing with a focus on website management and Google My Business.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with website backend operations.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and experience in developing content strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.

 

Please Note: This role is only open to candidates that live in Canada (preferably Toronto area)
