Associate Creative Director – Copywriter

Hybrid Remote ( Los Angeles CA)

Relocation package offered for non-local candidates

Minimum 8+ years of experience in an advertising or in-house creative role, both print and digital marketing/advertising experience, with emphasis in CPG branding ( Must Have)

Strong digital portfolio demonstrating strategic and creative strength.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced 360 Asscociate Creative Director to join our team and take it to new hieghts!

Position Summary:
The ACD Copywriter will work alongside the Creative Director to develop concepts and directions for creative ideas, campaigns, executions and positioning. The ACD will oversee the creative experience across multiple channels and work on the award-winning Brand Design team and is responsible for crafting the voice of the brand across multiple touch points, including digital media , physical consumer experiences (retail and events), product naming ,packaging, and PR efforts
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the creative strategy, general direction of the brand voice and overall copy for company and it’s sub-brands.
  • Collaborate with creative team members to determine the conceptual and copy direction of company branding, marketing, and advertising initiatives
  • Drive alignment around design decisions by soliciting, synthesizing and managing design feedback from multiple directions
  • Hands-on copy writing and creative execution – from concepting through production to delivery – to build holistic vision for marketing campaigns across multiple channels and customer touch-points.
  • Drive alignment around design decisions by soliciting, synthesizing and managing design feedback from multiple directions.
  • Make decisions and drive adoption of mechanisms that elevate how we approach marketing communications.
  • Ensure that content and communications maintain brand consistency across a multitude of channels including digital, social, advertising, and experiential.
  • Work with other internal teams to develop on-strategy branding and messaging.
  • Work with strategic planners to develop product marketing communications Ideate and execute creative copywriting solutions Work closely with web and UX teams to create copy and communications surrounding digital products.
  • Work in with in-house Brand Design team to create strategic marketing assets for projects including, but not limited to, product packaging, digital marketing (email, web banners, social media, digital experiences, social assets, etc.), retail displays, internal sales communication, video content
  • Translate creative direction and copy points from creative briefs into engaging and effective copy concepts
  • Mentor designers and copywriters

Education / Experience / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with English/Journalism focus.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in an advertising or in-house creative role, both print and digital marketing/advertising experience, with emphasis in CPG branding ( Must Have)
  • Mastery of written communication, both short- and long-form
  • Proven creative ability and ability to present and sell creative ideas
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to solve problems, and exceptional ability to understand, communicate, and develop creative solutions that address specific business/marketing objectives
  • A solid understanding of marketing and advertising principles
  • Strong digital portfolio demonstrating strategic and creative strength.

  • Be a steward of and maintain the company Brand in all creative created in-house, develop a copy style guide to insure the copy consistency throughout the brand
  • Must be a team player, able to work within budgets and tight deadlines on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
