European Rights

European Rights (GDPR) Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679(“GDPR”) applies to the processing of your personal data, you have the following rights subject to some limitations:

Access. You have a right to receive confirmation as to whether Aquent is processing your personal data, and to access that personal data. You also have a right to be informed of the purpose of our processing, the categories of personal data concerned,The categories of recipients to whom your data is disclosed, the period for which personal data will be stored or the criteria used to determine that period.

Rectification / Correction. You have the right to correction, without undue delay, of inaccurate or incomplete personal data we hold about you.

Erasure. You have the right to request that we erase personal data we hold about you and to no longer process that data.

Restriction on Processing. You are entitled to request suspension of processing of your personal data in certain circumstances, for example to contest and verify the accuracy of the personal data we hold about you, to contest the legitimate grounds of our processing of your personal data.

Portability. You have a right to receive the personal data concerning you, which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine readable format and to have those data transmitted to another party.

To object to processing. You have the right to object at any time to processing of your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interest unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which overrides your interests, rights and freedoms or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims. You also may object to our use of your personal data for direct marketing.

To object to automated decision making. You have the right to object to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling which produces legal effects concerning you or has similarly significant effects on you.

Right to lodge a complaint. You have the right to lodge a complaint with an applicable supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your data infringes your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Right to withdraw consent. If our processing of your personal data is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw consent at any time.

We may need to request additional information to verify your identity before we can fulfil your request. Please be aware that the processing of your personal data is necessary for performance of our services. If you request erasure, restriction on processing, or withdraw consent, we may be unable to continue providing the services.
